A Seattle native, I was raised by working-class parents who bought their own small business to run, after savings for years. My first experience working was at a young age, helping my family with day-to-day tasks; nearly a decade later, as the first in my family to graduate middle school, high school and college, I helped modernize their back-of-house systems.
Before the business, my mom—who sewed in garment factories in 1970’s China—worked as a sewing technician for manufacturers in the Seattle area. I remember being a child waiting between piles of fabric in a dimly lit factory, while my mom worked an industrial sewing machine. This was one of many experiences that instilled in me a deep connection to businesses that rely on skilled labor. Having grown up in a family business, I have first-hand experience of the challenges that owner-operators face, as well as the hard work, common-sense thinking, and resilience that’s required to persevere.

In my professional life, I’ve spent 10+ years managing timelines, budgets, and small teams to deliver multi-stakeholder projects on time and on budget.
I currently work at the Seattle Art Museum where I manage print production ranging from environmental graphics and signage to SAM’s largest fundraising events. Previously, I was a project and account manager for Made Media, a full-service digital agency, where I managed complex digital projects for major institutions, including the LA Phil, NY Phil, Stanford Live, and The Shed.
Outside of project management, I’ve held key marketing roles at leading arts organizations, such as The Broad, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF), and Saatchi Art.
At OSF, I served as the marketing director of digital and helped rebuild the marketing team after COVID. At The Broad, I stepped into an expanded role during a 18-month director vacancy, managing a $1.4M marketing budget and coordinating 17+ internal and external teams in a fast-paced environment. When I was a marketing manager at Saatchi Art, a marketplace, the company was post acquisition—I collaborated with product, retention, and growth marketing teams to improve key metrics like time-to-purchase.

I have a B.S. in Business (emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Finance) from USC’s Marshall School of Business.
I’m a life-long learner and am taking college classes in product design, interior design, and fabrication.
When I’m not making something with my hands, I’m exploring my passion for business—you can find me reading books on strategy, listening to interviews with small business owners, or brushing up on financial modeling.

I live on the eastside of Seattle. Before moving back to the Northwest, I lived and worked in Los Angeles for 15+ years with stints in New York City, Oakland, and throughout Mexico.
I’m always available to meet.
